Singing in three languages - English, French and Spanish -- Monsieur Nû's repertoire spans a lifetime of musical influences. In addition to his own music, Monsieur Nû plays the classics of nearly every genre, including "Hotel California," "The Sound of Silence," "Redemption Song" and "La Bamba." Veterans of the Saigon circuit, the 5-piece Stanley & Swackhammer play standards from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The group does four sets designed to soothe and put people at ease through dinnertime and then boogie them through the night. Early evening songs include classics such as "Stormy Monday" and "Fever," with up tempo songs later in the evening such as "Ain't Nobody's Business," "Respect," "Johnny B. Goode" and "I Will Survive." Show starts at 8:30 p.m. No cover.

A fixture of the Phnom Penh music scene, Phil & Ritchie take their jazz and rhythm-and-blues show to Siem Reap. The duo from France plays nearly everything, including material from artists such as Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. They cover pop/rock artists such as Prince, U2 and Peter Gabriel. "That is the power of the duet," says Phil Javelle. "[Ritchie] takes care of the rhythm, and I take care of the harmonies. With that we can go anywhere." Show starts at 8 p.m. No cover.
Paul Janovskis
Friday Feb. 19 and Saturday Feb. 20, FCC Phnom Penh
Veteran Australian bluesman Paul Janovskis, known for soulful lyrics and stripped-down guitar licks, brings his one-man show to Phnom Penh in February. A member of 80s blues-rock outfit Cattletruck, Janovskis has opened for bands such as Los Lobos and the Violent Femmes. As a solo acoustic act, just his voice and his guitar, Janovskis promises to revisit hits from the Cattletruck years and perform other great rhythm and blues classics from the 20th Century. Show starts at 7 p.m. No cover.

Friday Feb. 26 and Saturday Feb. 27, FCC Phnom Penh
Filipino singer-songwriter Juram Gavero delights crowds with an energetic blend of smoky, soulful vocals and guitar-driven acoustic rock. The Filipino native plays mostly rock 'n' roll classics, but like every good musician, he is well-versed in the standards of other genres as well. He is comfortable playing everything from Johnny Cash to Metallica. Shows start at 7 p.m. No cover.
