"Postcards from Cambodia" Selected color and black-and-white prints by British photographer Karl Sheldon, at the FCC Phnom Penh Mar. 1 to Apr. 14, 2006.
As a culmination to his year spent working in Cambodia, British photographer Karl Sheldon will show selected works at the FCC Phnom Penh beginning in March.
Titled "Postcards from Cambodia," the exhibit includes both color and black-and-white prints and represents the highlights of Sheldon's photographic studies in Cambodia.
"From simple photographs of nature, dwellings, transport and life, I hope to present a vision of Cambodia unique among the many splendid portraits I have seen during my year in Cambodia," Sheldon says.
An opening reception will be held March 10th at 7 p.m. A limited number of mounted prints and postcards will be on sale. Sheldon will donate proceeds from the sales to Oxfam, a global development, advocacy and relief agency.
