For Christmas dinner, the FCC has put together special menus for Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
In Phnom Penh, head chef Lucy Dengate has prepared a delectable, 3-course Christmas menu complete with roasted turkey and all the trimmings and then topped off with a choice of succulent desserts.
In Siem Reap, The FCC Angkor gives a nod to classic holiday flavors such as cranberry and Hollandaise, pistachio and brandy. The 3-course set menu includes a starter, main course and desert, and includes such succulent temptations as chicken terrine, seared salmon fillet and mustard crust sirloin.
For New Year's Eve, theater and music compliment the dinner and drinks.
In Phnom Penh, a special 3-course set menu will be served from 7 to 9 p.m. Afterwards, dollar beers will fuel the party as Betty Ford and the GT Falcons rock in the new year. Two happy hours -- one from 5-7 p.m. and the other from 9-10 p.m. -- should keep the band and revelers well-prepared to rock the other side of midnight. Music starts at 9 p.m.
In Siem Reap, New Year's evening starts with an African Jungle Buffet, followed by a special showing of Cambodian shadow puppetry from 10 to 11 p.m. Afterwards, DJ Benji will rock through midnight and into the early morning.
