Competition RulesEligibility The contest is open to all. Entry Forms Entry forms must accompany your photograph(s) and be completed online. Photographs Each photo should be titled and submitted with a caption explaining what is happening in the photograph, and roughly 10 inches (about 720px) wide by 6 inches in dimension. Maximum 3 photos per person. Photographs must be submitted online with your entry form and must be:
Photographs will be displayed online at a reduced size, but the original submission will be used for judging purposes. Categories Black & White Black & White category submissions may include any subject and must meet only the obvious requirement; they must be black & white. Daily Life Daily Life submissions include people at work or play or doing other 'Daily Life' activities. People People submissions include portraits or self-portraits, children and family photos, weddings, lifestyle and cultural photos. Landscape Landscape is a broad category and may include nature photography, bridges, trees, sunsets, wildlife or cityscape photos. Entry Fees (Updated) The Entry Fee has been Waived! There is no cost to enter Judging While the judging of photographs is inherently subjective, the jurors are generally looking at technical superiority, composition, originality and how well the photograph communicates its intended message. Deadline (updated) The deadline for entries has been exteneded to June 30, 2005. Usage All entrants agree that any photograph submitted to the FCC Resolution competition may be used in whole or in part by the FCC and competition sponsors for advertising, print publications, printed materials or electronic media, such as but not limited to our web site and online gallery shows without further notice or compensation.
