“Beautiful Hotel, Attention to the Details, Outstanding Staff”
I stayed at FCC Angkor twice in July 2011 - Once for nine days in connection with a Photo Workshop and later for 3 days on my own. Each time the staff the outstanding! They are focused on your every need and making sure you are happy and comfortable. From breakfast delivered beginning at 4:30 am (which was great before those early morning photo shoots), to the entire staff of the hotel/bar/restaurant, who will remember you and always inquire as to how you are doing and what you might need. The bar/restaurant serves excellent food - Asian and western - though a bit pricey by Cambodian standards. The location is perfect - central to the town yet just outside the touristy center. All in all - I would highly recommend the hotel. The rooms located near the pool are my favorite and are more comfortable if you want to utilize the patio areas.

Able to get a suite at a great price. Surprised with fresh lotus bouquet and fruit daily. Also got a dessert sampler on first night. The pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was off a menu and simply fabulous. Everyone was very helpful especially front desk. Took hotel Tuk-tuk for day and able to see many temples in one day. Provided cold water and towels. A great way to see Siem Reap. Loved the huge bathroom and rain shower. Included a whirlpool tub but never got a chance to try it. Didn't see Angelina though.

The FCC is in a fantastic Art deco building with rooms arranged on 2 levels looking over the pool. From the pool area it's possible to believe that you are in the countryside- it's almost totally sheltered from road noise. The rooms are good size and elegantly furnished. There is a beautiful restaurant and bar and the breakfasts were excellent. My only criticism is that the rooms have sliding glass doors but it's not possible to open your curtains and or relax on the small couches on each balcony as there would be little privacy. To get into town it is about a 15min pleasant walk along the river, or a tuk tuk for a few dollars.
